I’m not sure if it’s typical year-end burnout out but all of a sudden, everything seems very expensive, and people are struggling more and more with health issues whilst relying on unreliable medical schemes and cutting back wherever possible.
I hear it almost daily: “Bianca, I simply don’t know what to do anymore. They downsized the company. I don’t even know if my job is safe anymore, and I’m doing the work of 2 or 3 people with no salary increase. I simply cannot cut back any more. My family now shares one car, we’ve cancelled gym, cell phone, and other contracts, but remain living month to month. Hand to mouth. I feel like I’m existing, not living.”
